Kinchbus No. 638 had a Scania L94UB chassis fitted with Wrightbus of Northern Ireland Wright Solar B44F bodywork which was new in 2004.
The Scania L94UB chassis is one of the ‘K series’ single-decker bus chassis built by the Swedish manufacturer Scania AB.
No. 638 was withdrawn from service in 2021as its chassis was cracked and heavily corroded.
