Villa Tragara is a luxury estate in Montecito, California, built in 2014. It was designed and built by Kinka Usher, a director of television commercials and the 1999 feature film Mystery Men. Usher took inspiration from Spain’s famous Alhambra Palace, blending Moorish, Spanish, and Italianate architectural styles.
The villa sits on about 2.45 acres and offers around 12,000 square feet of living space. It includes 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, featuring vaulted ceilings, a home theater, a spa-style bathroom, and advanced smart home technology.
The outdoor area is just as impressive, with a heated swimming pond, koi pond, olive orchard, bocce and pickleball courts, waterfalls, fire pits, terraces, and a full outdoor kitchen.
Scooter Braun purchased Villa Tragara in 2022 from Ellen DeGeneres, who had owned the property for only a short time after buying it from Usher for about $21 million. Braun paid $36 million for the estate, which is celebrated for its elegant design and luxurious amenities.
