Korman Stadium is located in Port Vila, Vanuatu. It is the national stadium and the home of Vanuatu's national soccer team. The stadium's capacity is around 5000. It was built by Chinese engineers. However, a severe earthquake damaged the stadium. The stadium, once beautiful, has fallen into disrepair and disuse. The national rugby team still uses the stadium for games (which are played very rarely) and so do many of the local soccer teams. However, the stadium is not kept looking nice. The bleachers and seats are beyond repair with rust and other tropical diseases. The inside, once a beautiful basketball court with seating and all, has now become warped and stinky from rainfall leaking in from holes in the roof. Korman stadium was named for one of Vanuatu's politicians, the head of the Vanuatu Republican Party, Maxime Carlot Korman.
