On Thursday 4th May 2023, Atsushi JH7IOT/7, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Kushigamine (Kamidake) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 14 contacts in total working on the 40m amateur radio band.
The summit of Kushigamine (Kamidake) is 1517 metres (4977 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
The summit of Kushigamine (Kamidake) is In the Aomori Prefecture on Honshu Island.
