Kyle Beckerman is an American soccer player who plays holding midfielder for Real Salt Lake in Major League Soccer and for the United States national team. Beckerman is known for his leadership, tenacity and hard work on the field as well as his signature dreadlocks. In the MLS, Beckerman has been an All-Star eight times, playing in six due to injury. He has captained the Salt Lake team since 2008 despite just joing Real Salt Lake mid-season in 2007.
Kyle has been called up to the US national team 40+ times, playing in the 2009, 2013, 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cups, and the 2014 World Cup.
