It was designated as a Forest Reserve in 2018. It has reference number 160_ZH_201 on the Forest Reserves Inventory maintained by the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN).

Guido was at the summit of Lägern (672 metres) while he was as the reserve and made a total of 8 contacts for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
