On Sunday 16th July 2023, Gerald F6HBI/P & Bob F5HTR/P, two radio amateurs from France reached the summit of Le Sanguineirette and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 74 contacts in total working on the 2m, 60m, 40m and 30m and amateur radio bands.

The summit of Le Sanguineirette is 2855 metres (9367 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
