Lindeskov Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Lindeskov Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Hesselager, Denmark (DK)
Located near a forest called Lindeskov on the Danish island of Funen are the remains of several Neolithic burials. The site has one passage grave and 7 dolmens - the majority being long barrows. One long barrow is 168 m in length and 10 m in width which is the longest in Denmark.

This is the longest long barrow in Denmark. It is in excellent condition with the majority of the edge stones still surrounding it. No dolmens stand at the site, but an exposed burial chamber can be seen at the site.
