Stenbjerggård Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Stenbjerggård Langdysse (Long Barrow)

Hesselager, Denmark (DK)
Located near a forest called Lindeskov on the Danish island of Funen are the remains of several Neolithic burials. The site has one passage grave and 7 dolmens - the majority being long barrows. One long barrow is 168 m in length and 10 m in width which is the longest in Denmark.

Stenbjerggård is an impressive long barrow located next to the road. The long barrow is in very good condition with all the edge stones still in place and five dolmens still stand at the site. The site is clearly visible from the road.
