On Wednesday 27th July 2022 Lazzek 4O/SQ9MDF/P a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Maja Rosit and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 48 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
