On Sunday 9th July 2023, Aleksandar 4O/YU1CA/P, a radio amateur from Serbia reached the summit of Plana (Bandera) and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 42 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.
