The Mining House (since 1994 the Sokolov Municipal House of Culture) is a multi-purpose building in Sokolov in the Karlovy Vary Region. It is located in the city center on 5th May Street, adjacent to Budovatelů Square. Originally it served as the so-called Mining Association House, it gradually became an important center of social, political and cultural life. Since 2004, the Sokolov Information Center has been located in the Mining House building. It is protected as a cultural monument.

The building from 1923-25 ​​is an example of interwar modernity, an example of the symbiosis of modern classicism and functionalism with elements of the Loos school.

A monumental relief called "One Day from the Miner's Life" is set above the terrace in the façade of the building's façade. It is located in a 3 meter high frieze, of which the sculpture itself is 2.1 meters high and 29.27 meters long. The relief was one of the first works depicting ordinary people at the time of its creation. It is divided into eight parts, which creates a story from the daily life of the miner. The author of the most important artefact from 1923 is the Karlovy Vary sculptor Wilhelm Srb-Schlossbauer.
