On Sunday 31st October 2022, Yuki JF1NDT/1, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Mizugamori and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 40 contacts in total working on the 40, 30, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands
The summit of Mizugamori is 1553 metres (5095 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
Mizugamori is in the Yamanashi Prefecture on Honshu Island.
