On Sunday 2nd October 2022, Satoru JJ1RUI, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of this peak and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 12 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
