On Sunday 10th July 2022 Gerald F6HBI/P a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Mont Mounier and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 55 contacts in total working on the 60, 40, 30, 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.
