On Sunday 4th September 2022, Bjoern I3/DL7RAY/P, a radio amateur from Germany reached the summit of Monte Pelf – Quota 2506 and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
