On Thursday 27th July 2023, Heinrich IW3AGO/P, a radio amateur from Italy, reached the summit of Monte Radisca and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 40 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 20m and 17m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Monte Radisca is 2970 metres (9744 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
