On Sunday 30th July 2023, Artur I/SP9WLG/P, a radio amateur from Poland, reached the summit of Monte Roisetta and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 14 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m, 20m and 10m amateur radio bands.

The summit of Monte Roisetta is 3332 metres (10932 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
