On Monday 31st July 2023, Artur I/SP9WLG/P, a radio amateur from Poland, reached the summit of Monte Sarezza and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 22 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
