Monumento ao Tropeiro

The Tropeiro Monument welcomes those arriving in Lapa Inaugurated on September 19, 1965, together with the paving work on the BR-476 between Lapa and Curitiba, the panel located at the main access interchange to Lapa is one of the city ​​symbols. The work was designed by artist Poty Lazzarotto and created by Franco Giglio. The design refers to and pays homage to the tropeiros, who gave rise to the municipality of Lapa in the 18th century.
