On Monday 1st May 2023, Louis 4Z5OT/P and Darren 4X/KC0NAH two radio amateurs reached the summit of Mount Meron and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 21 contacts in total working on the 20m amateur radio band.

The summit of Mount Meron is 1204 metres (3950 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
