On Tuesday 15th November 2022, Matt JG1BOK, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Mushikurayama and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 30, 17 and 15 metre HF amateur radio bands.
