On Saturday 24th December 2022, JS2VVH/2, a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Nanatsumine and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 15 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 metre HF amateur radio bands.
