On Saturday 30th March 2024 at 09:39 UTC, Fred DL8XDL, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Olaf DL7CX, a radio amateur from Germany, who was using the callsign OK8CX/P, operating from NPP Krizky (OKFF-0247), on the 40m amateur radio band. Olaf made a total of 60 contacts while at the reserve.
NPP Krizky (OKFF-0247)[Crosses (National Natural Monument)], is a protected area of 4.55 hectares lying to the west of Prague in the west of the Czech Republic. It was designated in 1962 as a National Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
