On Sunday 31st July 2022 Tot JM3URG/2 a radio amateur from Japan reached the summit of Oodaigaharazan (Hinodegatake) and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 16 contacts in total working on the 70 cm UHF and the 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
