The Physic Garden is in the grounds of Congleton’s Bath House. It was created by volunteers from the Congleton Building Preservation Trust as part of a community conservation project to restore the Bath House and create a Physic Garden.
The planting in the garden is intended to demonstrate that medicinal plants can enhance health and promote well-being and the garden is an ideal complement to the original purpose of the Bath House.
The garden is laid out in a series of informal beds and features a classically inspired shelter or folly and a small pond in its lower section.
