On Sunday 23rd July 2023, Santiago F/EA2EOW, a radio amateur from Spain reached the summit of Pic de Cambalès and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 13 contacts in total working on the 2m amateur radio band.
