On Saturday 30th March 2024 at 11:39 UTC, Eddy ON3A, a radio amateur from Belgium, made contact with Rafael OK/DL9RNV/P, a radio amateur from Germany, who was operating from PP Muckovské vápencové lomy (OKFF-1880), on the 40m amateur radio band. Rafael made a total of 55 contacts while at the reserve.
PP Muckovské vápencové lomy (OKFF-1880)[Muckov limestone quarries], is a protected area of 3.3253 hectares lying to the south-west of Prague in the far south-west of the Czech Republic. It was established in 1990 as a Nature Monument and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
