On Tuesday 2nd April 2024 at 08:31 UTC, Mike G3VQQ, a radio amateur from West Yorkshire in the north of England, made contact with Mila OK1DOC/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from PP Vidoule (OKFF-2632), on the 10m amateur radio band. Mila made a total of 38 contacts while at the reserve.

PP Vidoule (OKFF-2632), is a protected area of 8.6472 hectares, which lies in the western suburbs of Prague in the Czech Republic. It was designated as a Nature Monument in 1988 and is an IUCN Management Category III area.

An IUCN Management Category III area is set aside to protect a specific natural monument. Examples of natural monuments include a landform, sea mount, submarine cavern, geological feature e.g. a cave or a living feature e.g. an ancient grove. These areas are often quite small but have a high visitor value.
