The Iveco Metro is manufactured in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong by Iveco Bus. It is a single decker low entry bus chassis designed specifically for the Australian market and is popular with several Australian bus operators.
This example appears to be the single door variant, which is 10.85 meters in length, rather than the twin door variant which is 12 metres in length.
The Iveco Metro is powered by an 8.9 litre Cummins ISLe engine and has Allison T375R transmission.
