Rural Cemetery: Pics and Stories

The story of Rural Cemetery for me is the story of how I went to visit the grave of a young lady named Miriam Bartlett, born on the 19th of December in the year 1860. Although not personally related to her, she inspired a search and a journey to the nineteenth century whaling city of New Bedford, Massachusetts, where I explored the streets of a historic city that has not been spoiled by glitz and tourist traps.
