On Monday 3rd March 2023, Antonio CT1MH/P, a radio amateur from Portugal reached the summit of São Pedro de Açor and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 23 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
