On Thursday 8th September 2022,Reinhard OE6RGF/P, a radio amateur from Austria reached the summit of Schwarzhorn and became the first to activate this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 6 contacts in total working on the 2 metre and the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
