On Saturday 15th October 2022, Eva DL/HB9FPM and Andy DL/HB9JOE/P, a couple radio amateurs from Switzerland reached the summit of Signalberg and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 28 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 20 and 17 metre HF amateur radio bands.

The summit of Signalberg is 888 metres (2913 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
