74 On board died, and 4 were killed on the the 14th street bridge, which the plane impacted.

Five survived the crash; a sixth survivor, Arland D. Williams, Jr, survived the crash but directed others to be rescued before him; he sadly did not survive for his turn at rescue.

Two passerbys, Roger Olian and Lenny Skutnik, entered the water to attempt to help a local Parks Police helicopter to rescue the survivors.
