Sitting Bulls grave (StreetView)
Sitting Bull (1831 – December 15, 1890) was an influential Hunkpapa Lakota leader who led his people in resistance against the United States government. Sitting Bull famously led his people to victory against General George Custer and the United States Army at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. He was ultimately arrested and killed during a struggle on the Standing Rock Reservation. He was first buried at Fort Yates, but his supposed remains were moved to its current location in 1953.
