On Tuesday 12th July 2022 Romain OK/SP6SUD/P a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Sněžka and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 11 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.
