On Thursday 1st December 2022 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Czech Republic joining SOTA, OK1DU a radio amateur from the Czech Republic reached the summit of Zadní Žalý and using the special callsign OL15SOTA activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 29 contacts in total working on the 40 metre HF amateur radio band.
