If you look closely you'll see this is an SR-71B with the raised second cockpit behind the pilot. It was a trainer version of the SR-71. Only two were built. The first crashed and the second last flew at Edwards just to the north in 1997 and was delivered to the Kalamazoo Aviation Museum on 28 March 2003.

If you pan around this view is older than many of the others. I think this may be of the plane. Perhaps it was delivered here from Edwards for de-militarizing before being delivered to the museum.

So that would make it Serial Number 64-17956
