On Sunday 31st July 2022 Zvone S52O/P a radio amateur from Slovenia reached the summit of Storžič and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and 70 cm UHF amateur radio bands.
