On Sunday 6th November 2022, Slavko S53XX/P, a radio amateur from Slovenia reached the summit of Grintovec and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 139 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF amateur radio band.
