On Friday 6th October 2023, JB KC1MXB, a radio amateur from Spingvale, ME reached the summit of Street Mountain and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 30 contacts in total working on the 2m, 40m and 20m amateur radio bands.
The summit of Street Mountain is 1265 metres (4150 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
