On Monday 15th August 2022, Tolis SV6KVG/P and Chrysoula-Rena SV6NOL/P two radio amateurs from Greece reached the summit of Strogula and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

They made 10 contacts in total working on the 20 metre HF amateur radio band.

The summit of Strogula is 2143 metres (7031 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
