The recently renovated Seacombe Ferry Terminal, which reopened in October 2022 after a 2-year multi-million-pound upgrade, was the starting point for the first municipal bus service in the town of Wallasey which commenced on 3rd April 1920.

The terminal building features an impressive square multi-faced clock tower in the Art Decco style constructed in brick.

The Seacombe Ferry Terminal is operated by Mersey Ferries and connects the Wirral with Liverpool on the opposite bank of the river Mersey.
