On Friday 18th August 2023, JE7MHN, a radio amateur from Japan, reached the summit of Tsubakurosuyama and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.
He made 5 contacts in total working on the 70cm amateur radio band.
The summit of Tsubakurosuyama is 2222 metres (7290 feet) asl. It has a rating of 10 points on the SOTA group database.
The summit of Tsubakurosuyama is in the Gunma Prefecture on Honshu Island.
