The Itutinga Hydroelectric Plant is an enterprise for the generation of electric energy by damming the Rio Grande on the limit between the municipalities of Itutinga and Nazareno. The concession for energy exploration belongs to Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais.
It is located on the upper course of the Rio Grande, five kilometers downstream from the Camargos Hydroelectric Power Plant.
