Usina Hidrelétrica de Miranda

The Miranda Hydroelectric Power Plant is located in Minas Gerais, in the municipality of Indianópolis, on the banks of the Araguari River and has a generation capacity of 408 MW, generated by means of three Francis type turbines . It has a maximum dam height of 79 meters, with an effective useful head for generating electricity of 66.4 m, and a length of 2050 m. The beginning of its commercial operation was on May 30, 1998.
