The dolmen dates back to the Neolithic era. It is located in a field next to the road near the town of Venslev on the Danish island of Zealand. The site is clearly visible from the road. Some stones still remain at the site today and a small tree now grows in between the stones. The dolmen is directly north of another dolmen just on the other side of the same road.
The dolmen is thought to have constructed between 3950 BC - 2801 BC.
