On Thursday 21st July 2022 Colwyn OE/M0YCJ/P a radio amateur from Scotland reached the summit of Wildkogel and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 20 contacts in total working on the 40 and 20 metre HF amateur radio bands.
