The course at the Wyong Golf Club spreads over roughly 65 acres of pristine and beautiful Central Coast land in New South Wales and yet is within easy reach of the Pacific Coast Motorway (M1).
The course which is a parkland type of course has been designed to represent a challenge to even a ‘scratch’ golfer.
The kikuyu grass which has as spongy quality will may be allow the ball to bounce forward by a yard or so and them stop it dead. This means that playing the course is not a matter of bumps-and-runs around the greens; and that chips must be aimed at the putting surface.
A deft touch is required when playing at the Wyong course as many of the greens are protected by sand traps, natural contours and mounding as well as tricky water features.
The Clubhouse which offers catering facilities for many different occasions including weddings and birthday parties, and is open to members, everyday golfers, and visitors.
